Our Company’s Philosophy: Research and Development to Prevent Avalanche Burial
Peter Aschauer puts the approach of ABS avalanche airbags in a nutshell, “We focus on the most succesful way to survive an avalanche – burial prevention.” Studies pertaining to the causes of death for avalanche victims have identified burial prevention as the number one criterion for survival. Our goal is to optimize our product and improve our emergency gear for any skier, or snowboarder who goes off-trail.
